Our studio

At open sea. A wide horizon.

Film, performance, poetry and images meet here. We follow each story through the people and experiments that bring it to life.

01 — The beginningA way of seeing

Out beyond the known.

Our work grows out of transitions, crossings and seas that have not always been gentle. What travels with us is often small: a line of poetry, a story told at home, the strange logic of a fairytale, a child's sudden question. We make from these fragments, holding onto the childlike wonder that slips through the cracks of memory and culture even when the journey asks for perseverance.

That spirit has room to play here. We let film, movement, music and images carry the stories we inherit into the present, and leave space for the unexpected things they become along the way.

02 — A place to makeThe work can move

The freedom of open water.

We do not draw a line between film, performance, music, illustration or animation. A project might begin with a poem and find its life in movement; an image might become a sound or a scene.

“a little wave of thought, is a little bit of life”

We want to experience all of life in the work we make. That means leaving room for experiments, shared craft and the detours that take us somewhere we could not have planned.

03 — What guides usOpen a card to explore

What we carry with us.

01 Memory and belonging

Family images, inherited stories and the feeling of being between places shape how we tell stories. We make room for voices that can be lost in the rush of events.

02 Art and the wider world

We care about land, labour, displacement and the conditions people live through. Those questions shape the stories we tell and the forms we use to tell them.

03 Made by hand

Sketches, masks, objects, sound and movement can take a story somewhere unexpected. We follow the detours that give each idea its own life.
